I am back from Guatemala and I would have to say that it was an awesome trip. Here are some random thoughts from our travels.

1. God is awesome. (I know that is a given but I thought I would stress it)
2. Guatemalan car riots are crazier than any american trffic jam I have ever seen.
3. Storms in the jungle are no joke.
3. Howler monkeys sound like Sloth from the goonies.
4. It amazes me that villagers have no furniture but they have a t.v, a stereo and a cell phone.
5. Prayer is a good thing to do when you have to use a public restroom.
6. Tu quirres wakala and me das asco are really funny phrases to say. (if spelled wrong...they are still funny)
7. being afraid of snakes, scorpions or bugs does not help for a good night's sleep.
8. Guatemalan Chinese food is not that bad.
9. Drunk Guatemalans act the same as drunk Americans.
10. The world is bigger than I am. (and I would love to see as much of it as I can)

Well, there are some things that went through my brain. I will post more if I think of any. I will also post some pics if I can.
